Dr. Victoria Boyd, President and Founder of The Philantrepreneur™ Foundation, has been a driving force in education and non-profit arenas as an author, trainer, administrator, and advocate throughout the country. Dr. Boyd recognized early that her passion was to help others and began her career as an educator. Concurrent to teaching Dr. Boyd was highly active in the nonprofit sector serving in numerous leadership capacities such as founder, board member, president, and interim executive director.
As a dance educator for over 28 years, she experienced extraordinary opportunities taking her high school students throughout the US and around the globe performing in such places as Edinburg Scotland, Aurillac France, Dallas, LA, Miami, and D.C. to name just a few. Her dedication was recognized and she was awarded ‘National Educator of the Year’ by the National Dance Association, ‘Educator of the Year’ by Michigan and Midwest District of the American Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, and the ‘Golden Apple Award’ by Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency (Wayne RESA), and recognized in Who’s Who in America’s Teachers. An award that she is most proud of and honored to receive was the ‘Fulbright Memorial Teacher Award’ where she had the opportunity to study the educational system in Japan for an extended period.
Her career shifted when she accepted the position of Arts and Education Consultant for Wayne RESA, serving 36 school districts and 68 charter schools. In this position, she had a pivotal role as the state liaison to develop professional training, served as an education television executive producer, wrote teacher certification standards, and implemented other statewide educational initiatives. For this work, she was honored with the Wayne State University’s Arts Achievement Award and ArtServe Michigan’s Advocate of the Year.
After moving to Las Vegas, Dr. Boyd’s entrepreneurial spirit emerged as she put her extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and management to work and launched The Philantrepreneur™ Foundation (TPF), a nonprofit FOR nonprofits with a mission to build nonprofit capacity through education, awareness, and resources. Through TPF and her consultant firm, she develops programs and resources to build capacity and impact the effectiveness of nonprofits.
Since being in Nevada her impact continues to be recognized with honors such as 2014 Nevada Distinguished Men and Women; 2015 NAWBO – Women of Distinction; 2015 LVBMN Entrepreneur Achievement Award, and 2016 MyVegas Magazine recognition as a Top 100 Most Influential Women.
Dr. Boyd is an avid content developer and has authored and ghostwritten numerous books such as her latest, Webinar Secrets and Board Bound Leadership: The Four Essentials.
Dr. Boyd possesses a Bachelor of Science/Health and Physical Education, Master of Education/Dance History and Production, Education Specialist/Administration Leadership, Doctor of Education in Organizational Development and Management, and is a Certified Artificial Intelligence Specialist (CAIS).
